Calendar App • MVP

Role: Product Strategist & Designer
Type: Concept / MVP Exploration
Focus: Discovery · Experience Mapping · Feature Definition

The Challenge

People need less noise, not more apps. The goal was to make coordination effortless without turning it into another social feed. Key questions I explored:· How might we simplify group planning without losing context?· What do people actually need from a shared calendar?· How could local businesses add value without clutter?

Friend app – showing Chat screen

The Approach

I mapped the experience around three user groups: organizers, participants, and venues, defining the minimum viable product (MVP) that could serve all.Core Features:
· Create and share events instantly
· Message within the event, no extra group chat· See time, place, and RSVPs in one flowThe MVP was built around RICE scoring and user-story mapping, prioritizing features that made the most impact with the least friction.

Friend app – showing various App screens including Profile, Calendar

Friend app – showing all App screens together

The Idea

Calendar app was created to simplify coordinating simple plans with friends — one lightweight social calendar where people can plan, chat, and connect without friction.· Combine events, messages, and places in one view· Let users see when friends are free· Help local venues join the conversation

Friend app – showing prototype of various App screens

The Outcome

The prototype proved that planning can feel natural again.
Friend merges social context with scheduling logic — turning coordination into connection.
· Reduced back-and-forth messages during testing· Clear, visual overview for shared plans· Scalable framework for business integration (venues, tickets, reservations)Calendar app remains a concept project, but it represents how I approach early-stage product definition: strategic, structured, human.

Digital Wallet • Fintech Integration

Role: UX Producer / Product Designer
Type: Product Integration / Fintech Experience
Focus: User Research • Experience Strategy • End-to-End UX

The Challenge

The platform’s checkout experience was fragmented across multiple payment tools, creating friction for millions of users. The goal was to design a unified digital wallet that could simplify payments, extend financial capabilities, and still fit naturally into an already high-traffic commerce environment.Key questions shaping the work:• How do we merge financial workflows with shopping behavior without slowing users down?• What level of flexibility do buyers actually need at checkout?• How do we introduce advanced money-movement features without overwhelming first-time users?• How do we align financial compliance, business goals, and UX constraints in one framework?

Fintech app money sending screen

The Approach

I led the user-experience strategy end-to-end, mapping behaviors across three core pillars: payment, peer-to-peer transfer, and credit. Each feature was prioritized based on user value and operational feasibility.Core UX principles:• Keep every action within the checkout context to avoid drop-off• Reduce financial workflows into simple, predictable steps• Make eligibility, limits, and fees transparent without adding noise• Reuse existing patterns where possible to maintain familiarityMy process combined rapid prototyping, usability testing, stakeholder alignment, and iterative refinement with engineering and compliance teams. The objective: deliver a wallet that felt invisible — powerful when needed, quiet when not.

Fintech app home screen

The Idea

We created a fully integrated digital wallet designed around the user’s existing habits. Instead of forcing a new flow, the wallet became an extension of the platform’s checkout logic — adding new capabilities without new complexity.• One wallet for paying, sending money, receiving money• Built-in loan options for purchases directly within the flow• A flexible system that supported fast, repeatable actions with minimal cognitive load• A structure that could scale into future financial services

Fintech app various screens

The Outcome

The digital wallet became a cohesive layer across the platform’s shopping experience.• Faster, cleaner payment flows
• Significant reduction in friction for returning customers
• Increased adoption of wallet-based transactions
• A scalable foundation for future financial products
While the project remains under NDA for specific metrics, it represents how I approach complex product ecosystems: strategic, grounded in user behavior, and aligned with both business and technical realities.

Samplico • Mobile Experience

Role: UX Producer / Product Designer
Type: Mobile App Redesign / UX Strategy
Focus: Research · Experience Mapping · Feature Definition

The Challenge

Every year, countless new products hit the market. Users face a common question: which product is worth buying? Which actually delivers on its promises? Samplico wanted to make discovering and trying products effortless, turning uncertainty into confidence. Key questions we explored:· How might we help users evaluate products before purchase?· How could the app guide users through testing, reviewing, and sharing products without friction?· How can incentives and community interaction drive engagement without clutter?

Samplico app – Home screen

The Approach

/ Research & Insights

Our process combined deep research, stakeholder workshops, and careful UX strategy:Qualitative interviews, netnography, and analytics audit revealed pain points in the existing web experience, including:· Confusing onboarding and unclear instructions· Overemphasis on free sample boxes, frustrating users who missed out· Long, tedious profile surveys that reduced engagement· Poorly staged information for time-sensitive product interactionsWe built an insights pool, created affinity maps, and facilitated persona workshops with stakeholders. Key personas included:❖ The Influencer: Wants first access to desirable products and to share with followers.
❖ The Slowpoke: Less tech-savvy local momfluencer, slower to adopt trends.
❖ The Commenter: Highly research-driven, values peer reviews, loves sharing insights.

/ User Flows & Developer Collaboration

We translated the Information Architecture(IA) into detailed user flows for each persona, including happy paths, alternative paths, and edge cases. Each flow accounted for:· UI states and transitions· Error handling and fallback scenarios· Secondary actions like sharing and list managementClose collaboration with developers allowed us to:· Ensure designs were technically feasible· Maintain consistency across interactions and screens· Iterate quickly when constraints or opportunities arose

/ User Story Mapping & Information Architecture (IA)

We created a comprehensive user story map that captured all possible user actions: discovering products, testing, reviewing, sharing, and engaging with incentives. Actions were grouped by persona, frequency, and importance, which helped us:· Prioritize features that solved the most critical pain points· Structure navigation and content hierarchies for clarity· Maintain a living document for stakeholders and the development team to reference during design and implementationThis approach ensured the app’s architecture was intuitive, scalable, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.

/ Benchmark Analysis

We studied similar apps to inform key flows:· Onboarding — engaging users and highlighting incentives· Homepage — surfacing comments, notifications, and product discovery· Product listing — infinite scroll with rich metadata without overwhelming users· Product detail pages — clear presentation of photos, reviews, and actions like sharing or adding to a list

/ Moodboard & Visual Design

To define the app’s look and feel, we led a moodboarding workshop with the client. We explored:· Color palettes that felt inviting and reinforced brand personality· Typography for readability and hierarchy· Illustration styles and iconography that enhanced usability and engagementThe outcome was a visual language that was both appealing and functional, guiding users intuitively through the app while reflecting Samplico’s playful, trustworthy identity.

Samplico app – moodboard

The Outcome

The redesigned Samplico mobile experience delivers a tailored, interactive journey for each user while providing brands with actionable insights. Key impacts include:· Smoother onboarding and clearer guidance for new users
· Easier discovery and evaluation of products
· Streamlined review and feedback process
· Enhanced alignment between user needs and brand insights
Core MVP Features:· Personalized product discovery and testing· Interactive reviews and comment system· Incentives integrated into user flows· Clear onboarding and guidance tailored to personasThis project demonstrates how research-driven UX strategy can transform complex business models into intuitive, human-centered mobile experiences, making product discovery and testing feel effortless.

Goodpatch • Website Redesign

Role: Product Designer
Type: Website Redesign
Focus: Branding Strategy • UX/UI

The Challenge

Goodpatch’s existing website reflected a classic Japanese design philosophy — structured, logical, and efficient — but it didn’t connect emotionally with a European audience. The site felt rigid, muted, and overly monolithic. Key questions I addressed:· How might we introduce a bolder, more expressive European sensibility without breaking the existing brand?· How could visuals, interactions, and UX work together to make the agency feel more approachable and human?· What is the clearest way to communicate our services and expertise at a glance?

The Approach

I defined a new visual and interaction direction centered on emotional impact, clarity, and movement.· Visual refresh: Crafted a brighter palette and bespoke illustrations that made the brand feel dynamic and European without losing its Japanese roots.· Interaction design: Added subtle micro animations across navigation, cards, and transitions to create a sense of responsiveness and craft.· Content clarity: Reorganized service descriptions and case-study highlights so visitors understand what Goodpatch does within seconds.· Conversational contact flow: Rebuilt the contact form as a guided dialogue to lower friction and encourage outreach, especially for prospective clients unfamiliar with us.Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with engineers and the brand team to ensure the new direction remained cohesive, technically feasible, and aligned with the agency’s identity.

Goodpatch website design

The Idea

The redesign brought together Berlin’s creative pulse and Goodpatch’s Japanese precision. The goal was to create a site that felt alive — colorful, expressive, and welcoming — while keeping the clarity and sharpness that define the agency.· Introduce a vivid color system and expressive illustration style· Layer in micro interactions and animations to add personality and delight· Simplify the way services and case studies are presented· Build a more conversational, frictionless contact experience

The Outcome

The redesigned website offers a more vibrant, emotionally resonant brand presence that speaks directly to European clients while preserving Goodpatch’s precision and craft.· Clearer service navigation and stronger value communication· More engaging visual storytelling supported by animations· A friendlier, high-conversion contact experience· A modernized identity that blends Japanese structure with Berlin’s creative energyThe result is a site that feels confident, contemporary, and unmistakably Goodpatch — a digital presence that finally reflects the agency’s personality in both markets.

Treat • Health-Focused Ordering App

Role: Product Designer
Type: Consumer Mobile App / Health & Food Tech
Focus: UX/UI Design • Personalization • Behavioral Design

The Challenge

In an era of endless restaurant menus and delivery options, anyone trying to follow a real diet—keto, vegan, paleo, intermittent fasting, macro-tracking—faces constant friction. Hidden carbs, missing allergen info, and overwhelming choice lead to decision fatigue, guilt, and abandoned carts. The goal: build a food-ordering app that doesn’t just let you buy meals; it actively protects and progresses your health goals without killing the joy of eating. Key questions shaping the work:• How do we make strict dietary rules feel freeing instead of restrictive?• How can nutritional data be 100% trustworthy and instantly useful instead of buried or optional?• How do we surface the right dish in seconds when someone is hungry and impatient?• How do we turn community behavior into gentle, non-shaming nudges toward better choices?

The Approach

I owned end-to-end product and visual design with a single guiding principle: healthy eating should feel effortless and indulgent, never like homework.Core UX principles:• Never tempt users with off-plan items unless they deliberately opt in• Make dense nutrition data glanceable and visually delightful• Deliver filtering and sorting at native-app speed—no lag, no extra taps• Enforce complete data entry (ingredients + macros) from restaurant partners upfront to eliminate guesswork• Use subtle community signals to guide discovery without judgmentProcess: concept sketches → interactive prototypes → guerrilla testing with real dieters → iterative refinement → visual polish → early partner onboarding for data compliance.

The Idea

Treat reimagines food delivery as a personal health ally. The entire menu experience dynamically reshapes around the user’s chosen diet and real-time daily intake, so only compliant, goal-supporting options appear front and center.• One-tap diet selection instantly filters every restaurant menu• Real-time macro & calorie tracking against daily targets• Mandatory, beautifully designed Nutritional Facts + full allergen & ingredient disclosure for every item• Instant, combinable tag filters (e.g., “Keto + Under 10g Net Carbs + High Protein” or “Vegan + Gluten-Free + Appetizers”)• Built-in social proof: favorite counts and “most ordered by Treat users on your plan” highlights

The Outcome

Though Treat has not yet launched, the fully interactive prototype and design system validated the core hypothesis with every tester: people on restrictive diets instantly felt in control, excited, and—most importantly—free to enjoy food againTreat remains a complete, production-ready MVP that demonstrates how radical transparency and intelligent constraint can transform a guilty-pleasure category into genuine, joyful health support.
